What is an Electrical Energy Storage System?
Electrical Energy Storage Systems provide storage of electrical energy so that it can be used later.
EESS may be installed for a variety of reasons for example:
- Increasing the ‘self-consumption’ of buildings fitted with renewable energy systems.
- Arbitrage services.
- Ancillary services.
- Providing a back-up or alternative power supply.
What’s next?
Manufacturer specific training courses are usually free of charge to qualified electrical installers and are now your route to the sector including MCS approval.
Simply call the manufacturer of your choice and book onto one of their ‘manufacturer training’ courses to learn more about their specific products.
