Electrical Safety Awareness Training

The Electrical Safety Awareness Training Course is for personnel who need to work on electrical equipment and who either have no electrical qualifications or may require a more in depth awareness of electrical dangers and safe working practices.

Electrical Site Maintenance Buildings / Property

The Maintenance Training Course is for people who may not be electrically qualified but who need to carry out simple electrical maintenance tasks on sites, in buildings or property.

Two days

Who is this course for?

This course is intended for those people whose role involves the maintenance of
buildings or sites. It is ideal for personnel who look after maintenance in offices, retail outlets, schools, hospitals, care homes, tenanted property etc. Typical candidates would not  necessarily possess an electrical qualification but they would become involved in simple electricalmaintenance including resetting circuit breakers, relamping, replacing damaged sockets and switch plates etc. Attendees are assessed on completion of the course and those successful will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion.

Electrical Fault Finding

The Electrical Fault Finding Training course is ideal for people who need to carry out maintenance activities and do not necessarily have electrical qualifications.

This course is designed for your non electrical mechanical maintenance personnel who are maintaining or servicing equipment and who you would like to expand their remit into dealing with electrical equipment.This course is designed for the
person who needs to fault find on electrical equipment in either a commercial or domestic environment. This course will cover the fundamental principles of electrical engineering in order to enhance skills in electrical Inspection, Testing and fault finding.The training will focus on principles that have real applicationparticularly for fault finding. Courses cover the minimum amount ofmaths and keep the trainees stimulated with real workingexamples.Components such as motors, relays, sensors, lighting and power circuits are covered with a view to be able to speedily diagnose a failed component, identify the operating specifications, locate a replacement part and fit anew one. Upon completion trainees will feel an increased level of confidence to fault find and repair systems.

Safe Electrical Isolation Training

The Safe Electrical Isolation Training Course can be delivered anywhere within the UK and will be customised to your exact requirements dealing with your specific Isolation Requirements

One day

Who is this course for?

This one day course is primarily for people with little no electrical background but who may in the course of their job be required to isolate electrical circuits safely to perform maintenance tasks such as replacing lamps and fittings, damaged socket outlets and switch faceplates, repair or replace like for like appliances and equipment and general electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.Safe Electrical Isolation is a formal procedure and the most important part of any electrical work and this course will help you become competent in Safe Electrical Isolation as well as getting hands on experience replacing a range of electrical fittings including lamps, sockets and swichgear, you can even learn to rewire a plug, the choice is yours. Our expert tutors will build the day around you and your particular learning requirements.
There is also an element of basic electrical theory included in the course.
This one day course is designed to be informal, fun and informative and most of all help you to go away feeling confident that you can safely isolate electrical circuits.
