Public Speaking Confidence – FAQs
Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for professionals who feel anxious about speaking up at work—whether in meetings, presentations, or interviews. If nerves often stop you from raising your voice or sharing your ideas, this course is designed specifically to help you move past those barriers.
How will this course help me overcome my fear of public speaking?
We’ve created a friendly and encouraging space where you can learn at your own pace. Through practical exercises, proven techniques, and tailored guidance from supportive trainers, you’ll gradually build confidence and learn to speak with clarity and ease.
Will I be expected to speak in front of a group straight away?
Not at all. We know that public speaking can feel overwhelming. That’s why the course is structured to ease you in gently. You’ll never be pushed to speak until you feel ready. Everything is designed to help you build confidence step by step, in a supportive environment.
I’ve never done any public speaking before—is that okay?
Absolutely. No previous experience is required. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who’s just a bit out of practice, this class is here to meet you where you are and help you move forward.
How is this different from other public speaking workshops?
Unlike traditional presentation skills courses, we focus specifically on the emotional side of public speaking—helping people who freeze, panic, or avoid speaking altogether. You’ll get one-on-one encouragement, practical tools you can apply immediately, and a supportive group that understands your journey.
When and how often does the class run?
This is a 2-day programme with one session per week. Each session is interactive, relaxed, and structured to give you plenty of time to practice and grow your skills without pressure.
Who will be leading the sessions?
Your trainers are Paul and Neil—both of whom know what it’s like to feel terrified about public speaking. They’ve been through it, they’ve come out the other side, and now they help others do the same. Their approach is understanding, practical, and grounded in real experience.
