New Level 3 Competent Person Qualification

The rules to join the NICEIC/NAPIT Competent Person Schemes have changed as from Sept 2021 and so we have adapted our Domestic Electrical Installer Course to accommodate the new standards.

This qualification allows the learner to acquire knowledge and craft skills of electrical installation and is suitable for learners who currently do not work within the electrical Industry (but may wish to do so) as well as Experienced Workers

The Process


Enrol with us

Contact us to sign up on the: Level 3 Award in Installing, Testing & Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings and we will provide you with all the information, course material, advice and guidance required for you to take your place on this popular course.


Complete your Level 3 projects in-centre

During your In-centre period with us you will get the opportunity to complete all required college based tasks and units and our friendly, experienced tutors will guide you along the way to maximise your time with us and build your confidence, ensuring that you never feel out of your depth and are able to keep up with all the work required.


Build your on-site portfolio

This is the final element of your course where you are required to build a portfolio of evidence from the work place. You are required to show a full range of electrical work including new circuit installation, maintenance and testing jobs via photographs and video evidence showing your competence at every stage with particular regard to the health and safety of yourself and others.

In general your on-site portfolio is your own responsibility and whilst we can’t guarantee finding you work for your portfolio. You may meet people on the course or in our centre doing other work who are already in the workplace and my be able to help.

Our tutors also have many years experience in the industry and we have many contacts and always try to help our students with furthering their careers.
