City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Byelaws in the UK

The fully accredited Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) course is for heating and plumbing installers who need to gain the knowledge of the Water Regulations (1999). Successful candidates are encouraged to join an approved plumbers/contractors scheme.

This courses cover the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England and Wales) and the Water Byelaws 2014 (Scotland) and meets the requirements of WRAS (the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) of which the majority of the UK water companies are members.

Pre-requisites
Trainees should ideally have some knowledge of plumbing and the water industry.

Further Information
This is a one day course consisting of theory and a short open book assessment.

Certification of this course will go towards the entry requirements of meeting the criteria to join a competent person scheme e.g. (APHC) and (MCS) accreditation for Heat Pump Installers. Other recognised plumbing qualifications may be required to join approved schemes.

The Water Regulations course is for heating and plumbing installers who need to gain the knowledge of the Water Regulations (1999).

This course runs between 9.30 – 16.30.

Parking is free all day at our Hemel Hempstead venue. In London, free local parking is available on weekday evenings after 5:30 PM and throughout the weekend. During weekdays, paid parking options are available in London. Our London centre is also easily accessible via public transport, including tube, rail, and bus services.

This course is theory based with a short paper based, open book assessment.
